The "Paroles aux jeunes chercheuses et chercheurs en géométrie et dynamique" conference of the GDR Platon will take place at the Institut de Mathématique d'Orsay (Orsay Mathematical Institute), Paris-Saclay university, in Orsay, from the 23th to the 25th November 2022.
This conference is aimed at young researchers in dynamics, geometry and group theory. Most of the public will be made of doctoral and post-doctoral students. This is an opportunity for the speakers to give one of their first conference talks.
The conferences shall start at 11 a.m. on wednesday and end at 3 p.m. on friday. There will be a total of 11 fifty-minutes talks given by young researchers, as well as a lightning talks session (five-minutes talks). If you do not give a long talk, you are welcome to apply for the lightning talk session in order to present to the whole audience your research subjet.
This is a bilingual conference. Talks may be given either in French or in English; English is prefered.
Restauration and accommodation will be supported as much as possible by the organisation of the conference. On the thursday evening, a dinner at a restaurant is scheduled, for which registration is mandatory.
